Yarn material is not 100% water proof, but slight exposure to water will not damage product.

Colour transfer is unlikely, unless exposed to deliberate and/or rough contact (e.g. rubbing) against fabrics.

Chains are not 100% rust proof, eventual wear and tear is to be expected.
